Group Therapy

This may be done as a separate therapy for children with poor social skills but is usually done as a part of remedial therapy and infant stimulation. This is mainly to improve the social skills and bonding between children with neuro-developmental disorders. This is done under the direct supervision of child psychologists specializing in this field.

Here, children with neuro-developmental disorders having similar characteristics or attributes are grouped together and in a smaller, closed area, are encouraged and gently directed to perform various activities, separately at first and later together. This is in the form of group team building activities and later are grouped into smaller teams depending on their bonding with each other. This is a fun and interesting therapy to improve their social skills.
