IMPROV THERAPY
- Here, the child is first assessed by our child psychologist via online skype session.
- After this, a set of customized therapy videos are sent to the parents. These are tailor made for each child depending on their initial assessment.
- The parents follow these therapy videos and practice this on their child in the comfort of their homes. The videos are self explanatory & easy to understand.
- A designated Parijma therapist (depending on what therapy the child needs) will also conduct live online therapy classes weekly once or twice to correctly demonstrate the therapy and also to monitor the progress of the child.
- During these therapy sessions, a consultation with a pediatric neurologist from Parijma will also be included monthly once or twice, to corroborate the child’s progress, counsel the parents & also to decide on medications, if any required. This consultation will be free of charge each time.
- With these sessions, as the child starts improving over time, a new set of therapy videos will be sent periodically.
- This process continues until the child attains full development.

IMPROV Therapy is partly based on a subscription model.
- Once the child has been selected for IMPROV therapy, the parent will need to subscribe to any 1 of 3 time slabs.
- The time slabs are for –
Repeated and correct practice of the therapy activities at home by the parent is the only way to ensure that the child has a faster and better development. Once the parent chooses a particular time slab subscription, he/she will get complete access to the designated videos for their child across all therapy departments. This way, the parent and the child can’t go wrong when practicing at home.
- The reason for these time slabs are that, in most cases, the multi-disciplinary therapy for most children with neuro-developmental disorders will need to continue for 6 months – 3 years for the child to improve fully.
- The parent subscribes to one of the time slabs by paying the respective amount. This will entitle them to receive sets of therapy videos in any or all of the different therapies (physiotherapy, infant stimulation, occupational therapy etc.) depending on the child’s abilities and level.
- The parents thus have a ready set of custom designed therapy activities (especially customized for their child) in any or all of the neuro-rehabilitation departments.
- These videos are practical, have detailed explanations on how to do, & the need/uses of the given therapy activities, so that it is easy for the parents to do at home without the fear or confusion of doing it wrong.
- The parents can learn from these & practice with their child at home repeatedly. This repeated practice of the correct training methods along with regular online therapy sessions by the Parijma therapist & pediatric neurologist should ensure better & faster development of your child.
- Newer videos will also be periodically sent, as & when the child improves till the time slab expires. Fresh subscription (if needed) can then be applied for.
